After School’s Lizzy suffered an ankle injury and has canceled all scheduled activities to regain mobility as soon as possible before the official comeback stage of After School on June 13.
Lizzy’s management company stated, “Lizzy recently had a severe sprain of her ankle during practice. She is not going to participate in any media activities until she recovers from the injury. We will monitor her progress and do our best to get her back in good health as fast as we can.”
Via Twitter, Lizzy shared about her condition, commenting, “I was getting really happy about my legs getting skinnier but now I am sad I can’t do anything because of my legs. My right leg is thinning so much from disuse. It is fine if one gets thicker than the other, I just want to heal fast. I need to go on stage.”
After School is set to stage their official comeback performance on June 13. Teasers for their new title song are expected to be released early next week.
