The Japanese PV for After School's "Shine" was uploaded onto YouTube, showing all girls looking refreshing, charming, and absolutely stunning as they compete with the bright sparklers and lights in the MV. Another eye-catching part of the video is the clear participation of member Jooyeon, who had graduated from the group back in December and has since joined 'Better ENT' as an actress.

130701 After School releases "First Love" choreography practice

On June 30th, After School released their choreography practice video for their hit track “First Love.”

After School released their 6th single “First Love” nearly 3 weeks ago, and has been gaining a lot of attention for their amazing dance pole choreography, beautifully portrayed by the group’s members after months of bruises and cuts.

The video cuts between the four dance poles, as well as another area of the practice room, focusing on the chorus’ choreography.

Making the practice video even more unique is After School’s comments, with Juyeon and Jungah doing most of the talking. The end of the video features blooper scenes from Jungah, who kept slipping down the pole before officially recording.

As seen in the music video, their choreography features a lot of pole dancing scenes. They show off incredible strength and stamina as they look very comfortable hanging on the poles.

Having teamed up as the latest participants for the ongoing project album, ‘re;code‘,10cm and Orange Caramel discussed their upcoming collaboration by interviewing each other on Loen‘s ‘CSI: 10cm & Orange Caramel‘.

10cm’s Kwon Jung Yeol and Orange Caramel’s Lizzy became the hosts as they introduced their collaborative single and interviewed the members of both groups. The two teams had fans smiling along with their chemistry and gave fans a preview of their project with a short duet performance towards the end.

10cm and Orange Caramel will make spring a bit sweeter with their remake of 10cm’s “Hug Me” on the 10th!

After School’s Uee had her first ever solo fan meeting in Taiwan on Sunday and received a warm welcome from over 1,000 fans.

The fan meeting took place at the H:CONNECT store in Ximending, Taiwan where she met with fans, posed for pictures, and signed autographs.

Last year it was announced that the idol star had been chosen as the new spokeswoman and model for the clothing brand which is popular throughout Taiwan and China as well as Korea.

For the day, Uee acted as the manager of the clothing store and greeted fans by speaking Chinese, much to their delight.

Aside from modeling and singing, the After School idol is also popular in Taiwan for her acting roles.Her recently aired drama You’re Beautiful was extremely successful in the country, as was her show Ojakgyo Brothers.

Uee’s solo fan fashion meeting comes after a successful event in Taiwan with her fellow After School group mates.The girl group’s fan meeting also served as a charity event and all the proceeds from the ticket sales went to serve children in need.

These latest stops in Taiwan have also been a jumping off point for the ladies to start promotions for their comeback expected sometime this spring.With so much love shown for Uee and After School this past weekend, we can be sure they will soon return to the country to perform after the release of their next album.

After School‘s sub unit Orange Caramel has revealed their short version music video for “Mint Cookies & Cream” today on YouTube.

The song is from their upcoming first Japanese album “Orange Caramel” which will released next month on March 13. It has been reported to contain ten tracks, including Japanese versions of all their past hits.

The trio previously released their single “Lipstick / Lamu no Love Song” in December.

After School unit group Orange Caramel was the latest guest to appear on Insite TV’s Tick Talk, where Raina ranked her fellow members on their makeup-less faces.

She quickly fired off the names of her members “Lizzy, me, Nana,” in that order, during the 100-second interview, placing herself in a comfortable second place and naming Lizzy as the member with the best no-makeup face.

Meanwhile, Nana was shafted to last place.

Plastic surgery is considered small talk in the K-Pop world, and Orange Caramel member Lizzy kept it cool on Insite TV’s Tick Talk, admitting she has gotten a little work done.

On the sometimes sensitive topic of plastic surgery during the 100-second interview, the ever cool member didn’t miss a beat and said, “I got plastic surgery,” before adding, “You’ll see [where] when you compare my past photos.”
